Professor Anna Costanza Baldry is an Italian psychologist and criminologist whose research focuses on the victims of crime—particularly women who have been the target of intimate partner violence and abuse. She is also interested is studying ways to empower survivors of abuse and protect the children of femicide and domestic violence victims.

Professor Baldry received her doctorate in social and developmental psychology from the University of Rome La Sapienza in 1994, and went on to earn a PhD in criminology from the Institute of Criminology at the University of Cambridge, in 2000. After many years of research and activism aimed at reducing violence against women, Professor Baldry was honored with the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic by President Sergio Mattarella.
